Even though DSP gave very good albums with consistency, he was targeted by a section of media and audiences. If we see his recent works like Pushpa 2 and Thandel, the songs were good hits.
However, the music director did not receive any credit for the films’ success, and somehow a negative buzz was created about him. An image was created for DSP that he is not delivering well for movies.
One of the big reasons for such a situation is multiple music directors getting on board for Pushpa’s background score/RR. The issue escalated further after this.
However, Devi Sri Prasad shuts down haters with Kuberaa, as his songs and BGM are being credited as one of the biggest assets for the film’s success. Songs like Poyi Raa Mama, Naadi Naadi, and Naa Koduka worked superbly for the film.
The best thing regarding these songs is they rightly blend into the script and make the impact stronger.
The same can be said regarding the BGM, as the RR of DSP for the film is terrific. Every audience awaits the Kuberaa OST release.
Certainly, DSP’s rough patch has ended, and he starts the golden phase again with Sekhar Kammula’s Kuberaa.
