Devara, latest film of Tollywood Actor NTR and Director Koratala Siva became a big blockbuster in Telugu version. The film made profits for all the buyers involved here. But Devara has performed just moderately in Non-Telugu markets not making it a complete Pan India hit.
In Tamil Nadu, Devara collected only around 10 crores wherein half of the gross came from Telugu version itself there. In Kerala, the film just collected over 2 crores which is considered very low number. While coming to the Hindi belt, Devara saw a very good opening but couldn’t hold the momentum and ended up in the range of 60 crore Nett.
Devara has reportedly collected more than 400 crores gross worldwide where 80% of the revenue came from Telugu version alone. Other language markets didn’t contribute much as expected to get the tag of Pan India blockbuster. Besides, it is not a complete disappointment as well. Devara finished it as an okayish performer in other language markets.
