Initially set to premiere on Netflix on November 8, new reports indicate that the South Indian versions might be available as early as next week, with the Hindi version following in the third week of November. The official announcement of this is yet to come.
Directed by Koratala Siva, Devara has taken the box office by storm, raking in over Rs 400 crore globally. This puts it in an impressive sixth place among the highest-grossing films in Tollywood history, joining the ranks of legends like ‘Baahubali 2,’ ‘RRR,’ ‘Kalki 2898 AD,’ ‘Salaar,’ and ‘Baahubali.’
As the film nears the end of its theatrical run, the decision to release it early on OTT is unlikely to affect its box office success, considering its already impressive earnings. With all language digital rights secured by Netflix, fans are eager to experience this cinematic thrill ride from the comfort of their homes.
