Dasara is on track for new opening day record – 1st day box office estimates

Dasara generated a massive hype following the aggressive national promotion of Nani, and the song “Chamkeela Angeelesi” and the trailer have created a lot of buzz around the film. Nani is equally confident that the movie will be a turning point in his career.

All these factors contributed to the film’s great bookings. All multiplexes in Hyderabad have near-full advance sales. Bookings for premiere shows are also remarkably high in the United States. If this trend holds, the Opening Day collections will be a record for Nani.

Nani promoted the film throughout Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Northern India. The film is on track for an opening day record and the trade circles expect that the collections will be massive. The previous world record for day 1 collections of tier-2 heroes is with Vijay Deverakonda’s Liger which collected 14 crores and Nani’s Dasara is expected to collect around 17 crores worldwide.

Directed by Srikanth Odela, Dasara’s music has been composed by Santhosh Narayanan and Sathyan Sooryan ISC handled cinematography. Navin Nooli is the editor and Avinash Kolla is the production designer of the film, and Vijay Chaganti is the executive producer. Sudhakar Cherukuri is the producer.

The film stars Nani, Keerthy Suresh, Dheekshith Shetty, Samuthirakani, Zarina Wahab, Sai Kumar and Rajsekhar Aningi. The film is set to be released in theaters on March 30 in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam. The film is set against the backdrop of Singareni coal mines near Ramagundam’s Godavarikhani of Telangana.
