Coolie starring Rajinikanth is gearing up for release on 14th August worldwide. The film is one of the most anticipated biggies of Kollywood and there are immense expectations around it. The team has already completed the shoot part, and the theatrical business is also underway.
For the overseas market, the makers are said to be quoting 75 crores with negotiations happening with the Top distributors. To breakeven here, Coolie must make more than $20 Million. Rajinikanth’s previous blockbuster, Jailer and Director Lokesh Kanagaraj’s previous film, Leo both collected more than $20 Million in the overseas region.
So, it looks very easy for Coolie to reach this mark and trade analysts hope that Coolie may even touch the $25 Million mark in the overseas market. The film also faces stiff competition from War 2 starring Hrithik Roshan and NTR, which will also release on the same day. But Coolie looks unstoppable in the hype meter.
