Chiranjeevi retired as a no. 1 hero for Tollywood before joining politics, and even after the comeback, he started his second journey with the Non-Baahubali Industry Hit Khaidi No. 150. However, he could not catch up with the present top heroes thereafter, but still, Chiranjeevi is a step ahead of Balakrishna.

After Khaidi No. 150, Chiru could not win the race with this generation of heroes as they went towards pan-India markets, and most of them grabbed that big market as well.

At the same time, Chiranjeevi had a mixed journey at the box office in recent years, and his last film, Bhola Shankar, was a colossal disaster, whereas his competitor Balakrishna has had a golden phase at the box office.

Chiranjeevi’s Film does more business than Balakrishna’s Film

But even at this phase, Chiranjeevi is a step ahead of Balakrishna in terms of business. Balakrishna’s next film, Akhanda 2, is having a record business in his career. The total worldwide theatrical rights are likely to be around 130 Cr.

Coming to Chiranjeevi’s Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, the film’s business is much more than Balakrishna and Boyapati Sreenu’s crazy sequel, and the film is expected to close at around 165 Cr, which is 25% higher than Akhanda 2.

We need to wait and see to know which film can collect more in the two movies, but after the comeback, Chiranjeevi could not become the no. 1 hero, he is still competing with his peers.
