CM’s Hospital Visit Goes Viral
AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu visited AP Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan at a Mumbai hospital today, following his shoulder surgery on Saturday. Photos from the visit quickly spread across social media platforms.
CM Chandrababu Naidu arrived at the hospital earlier this morning, spent time with Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, and inquired about his health. In the viral photo, Pawan Kalyan is seated beside the hospital bed while Chandrababu sat opposite him. The image shows Pawan Kalyan in good spirits and recovering well. Fans and Janasainiks have flooded X (formerly Twitter) with wishes for his speedy recovery.
Surgery Details
Janasena sources confirmed that the surgery performed on Pawan Kalyan in Mumbai on Saturday was successful. A team of doctors led by world-renowned orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine expert Dr. Dinshaw Pardiwala conducted the complex procedure on his right shoulder.
The surgery addressed a rotator cuff injury accompanied by an avulsion fracture of the shoulder. According to an official statement from Janasena sources, the surgical procedure took three and a half hours to complete.
Decade-Long Injury History
Pawan Kalyan first sustained shoulder injuries in 2016. Despite doctors advising adequate rest following initial treatment, he continued participating in political meetings and rallies. During the 2018 Porata Yatra, Janasena Party cadres would often pull his arm in their eagerness to shake hands with their beloved leader. He endured the resulting pain without complaint.
The injuries aggravated over time as fans repeatedly rushed to greet him during the recent general elections and the Varahi Yatra. When he underwent nasal surgery in April 2026, comprehensive medical tests revealed severe rotator cuff injuries and muscle tears in his shoulders, making this surgery medically necessary.
