The euphoria surrounding Jr. NTR’s Devara: Part One is hitting new peaks every day. Yesterday, the action drama became the third Telugu film, after Kalki: 2898 AD and RRR, to gross $ 2 million at US box office with advance bookings alone.
By September 24th, the film is now open for bookings across the world, and the numbers are turning out to be huge. As the title reads, Devara has grossed over INR 5 crore even before it hit the big screens, i.e., by pre-sales itself.
This is an earth-shattering achievement for any Indian film. Considering this level of frenzy around it, Devara will get past the INR 100 crore mark in its first weekend itself. It is slated for a grand finale worldwide on September 27th (Friday).
