Every director dreams of working with Tier-1 stars to deliver their biggest films and boost their career graph. Among the six current Tier-1 stars, Boyapati Srinu has already worked with NTR, Allu Arjun, and Ram Charan in his career. However, his films with NTR and Ram Charan failed, making another collaboration with them highly unlikely.
Pawan Kalyan is carefully choosing his projects, and Boyapati’s style of filmmaking does not fit with his current commitments. Prabhas is already occupied with multiple projects, while Mahesh Babu is busy with his massive film directed by Rajamouli. Both stars are practically not showing any interest in working with Boyapati Srinu.
The only Tier-1 star who showed interest earlier was Allu Arjun. Their combination delivered the sensational blockbuster Sarrainodu, which played a huge role in boosting Allu Arjun’s mass appeal. Boyapati also had a long-standing commitment to Geetha Arts, leading to several discussions about another collaboration with Allu Arjun under that banner. However, Allu Arjun waited to see the result of Akhanda 2, as Boyapati was aiming for pan-India recognition. With Akhanda 2 failing to achieve that and drawing criticism, Allu Arjun is now also unlikely to show interest in working with Boyapati again.
Given this situation, Boyapati Srinu may have to turn to younger heroes or senior stars for his next project to revive his career. Working with Tier-1 stars in the coming years looks nearly impossible. He will need to prove his caliber with other films first before approaching Tier-1 stars again.
