The trend of onboarding Tamil directors for massive Bollywood projects is catching up fast. Last year, Atlee made a massive debut with Blockbuster Jawan and delivered a pan-India blockbuster creating massive demand for him in Bollywood and Tollywood. Salman Khan who earlier worked with Prabhu Deva has now signed his next two films with Tamil directors- Vishu Vardhan and Murugudoss. Vishnu Vardhan will direct Bull while Murugadoss will direct Salman under Sajid Nadiadwala’s production.

Shankar is already working for Game Changer in Tollywood and after Indian 3 he is likely to collaborate with a big Bollywood star. Nelson Dileepkumar is also getting good offers after Jailer but he wants to finish Jailer 2 first then he will mostly work with a Tollywood or Bollywood big star.

Lokesh Kanagaraj who is the most in-demand Kollywood director has committed projects but many heroes from the entire Indian cinema want to work with him. As per reports, a film with Prabhas in the lineup.

Some time back, Ranveer Singh’s project with Shankar was announced. This was the Bollywood remake of Aparichitudu. Due to several controversies, the film has now taken a backseat and the Bollywood star is in talks with Ranjith (Kavali director) who’s currently working on Thangalaan.

Karthik Subbaraj who made a roaring comeback with Jigarthanda 2 last year is also in talks with several Tollywood stars for a big project. The demand for all big Kollywood directors has significantly gone up and stars and producers from various industries are lining up to sign them.
