Kartikeya Gummakonda and Iswarya Menon starrer Kartikeya Gummakonda’s Bhaje Vaayu Vegam directed by Prashanth Reddy has hit the screens today. The action thriller’s trailer looked interesting and managed to create some positivity. Let’s see if Kartikeya manages to strike gold with this one.
Story:
Venkat (Karthikeya) and Raju (Rahul Tyson) move to city in search of a better life. While Venkat wants to become a cricketer, Raju looks to get a job and settle in life. The brothers get duped and end up losing their savings. Enraged at their misery Kartikeya takes some drastic measures. What impact these actions have on his life and how he tackles them is what the movie follows.
Performances:
Kartikeya has done a good job as a young and energetic character. He looks the part and has particularly impressed in the action parts. Iswarya Menon has no major part to play in the film’s proceedings but does a decent job. Rahul Tyson has done a great job as a timid and soft one of the two brothers and it’s great to see him back on the big screen. Ravi Shankar as David looks menacing as ever and adds great value to the movie.

Verdict:
Bhaje Vaayu Vegam is an engaging thriller with its own weaknesses. While Kartikeya and Ravi Shankar add great value to the proceedings, the film loses its edge due to predictability and melodrama. However, if you’re a fan of thrillers, you may want to give Bhaje Vaayu Vegam a shot.
