Veteran actor Nandamuri Balakrishna has been airlifted to AIG Hospitals, Hyderabad, after sustaining an injury to his left knee during the shoot of NBK111 in Rajahmundry. According to an official medical bulletin released by the hospital, the actor received initial treatment at a local hospital before being shifted to Hyderabad for specialized evaluation and further management. The update comes a day after the film’s team confirmed that Balakrishna had suffered an on-set injury.

Medical Bulletin Details

The medical bulletin states that preliminary examinations revealed a localized collection of blood and inflammation around Balakrishna‘s left knee, indicating a possible muscle tear. The actor is currently undergoing extensive clinical and diagnostic investigations under the supervision of a team of orthopedic surgeons. Considering his medical history, a multidisciplinary team of specialists is also assessing his overall health to determine the safest and most appropriate treatment plan.

Current Status and Recovery

AIG Hospitals has confirmed that Balakrishna‘s condition is stable and that he remains under close medical observation. The hospital added that the final course of treatment will be decided after the ongoing evaluations are completed, with further updates to be communicated in due course.

The injury occurred during the shoot of NBK111, directed by Gopichand Malineni, which began production in March 2026. This marks the second collaboration between Balakrishna and the director after their successful outing.
