According to reports, Varun Tej is set to undergo a minor surgery today at Apollo Hospital. He is said to have been injured while practicing volleyball for the shoot of his upcoming film Bhari. The team is expected to resume shooting after his recovery.
Bhari is slated for a Sankranti release. Varun Tej’s last theatrical release was Matka (2024).
2016 Injury Recalled
This is not the first time Varun Tej has faced an injury during a film shoot. He previously fractured his leg in 2016 while filming an action sequence for the movie Mister in Ooty.
