The Tamil coming-of-age drama Bad Girl, directed by debut filmmaker Varsha Bharath and produced by Vetrimaaran, is now available for streaming on OTT. The film made some noise during its teaser launch and theatrical release as well.
Varsha Bharath, who earlier worked with Vetrimaaran, makes her directorial debut with this film. Interestingly, Anurag Kashyap has also collaborated with Vetrimaaran to produce and present the project.
Anjali Sivaraman plays the lead role in Bad Girl, a bold and entertaining coming-of-age story that gained attention for its teaser dialogues and for being backed by Vetrimaaran’s production, and now everyone awaits the response to it from the OTT viewers.
Jio Hotstar has acquired the streaming rights, and the film is now available in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada.
The film follows Ramya’s journey from her teenage years to her early 30s, exploring her struggles with social expectations, romantic experiences, and her path toward self-discovery.
The cast also includes Shanthi Priya, Saranya Ravichandran, Hridhu Haroon, TeeJay Arunasalam, Sashank Bommireddipalli, and others.
