SS Rajamouli and Prabhas’s Baahubali: The Epic, the grand movie that was made by uniting two parts of the franchise into one part, was released three weeks ago, and the film has almost ended its run, including North America.
Baahubali The Epic did phenomenally well in North America. Till its arrival, the highest grosser in re-releases was around $120K, but Rajamouli’s Baahubali has broken this with pre-sales alone, and the film did extraordinarily well in its full run, collecting $933K gross.
In the USA, the film gathered $901K, and Canada’s closing stands at $32K. If we observe language-wise, Telugu is $867K and Hindi is $64K. Malayalam and Tamil did not contribute many numbers.
There were expectations that the film could easily go beyond 1 million, but the film has fallen just below that milestone.
