After a below-par opening day of 19 Cr nett in India (all areas included), Avatar: Fire and Ash did not make much jump on the second day as well, as the film’s word of mouth was just average and audiences did not go crazy for it as it was expected.
The grand film witnessed a 15% jump on day 2 and collected 22 Cr nett, with the total for 2 days nett being 41 Cr, which is equal to Avatar 2 (Avatar: The Way Of Water) opening day nett. In total, James Cameron’s film grossed 48 Cr in India over the course of two days.
Avatar: Fire and Ash continues the below-par trend, likely to gross around 200 Cr in India, compared to the previous installment’s 500 Cr. Meanwhile, Bollywood’s Dhurandhar is still performing exceptionally well in its third weekend, surpassing even Avatar 3’s opening weekend numbers.
