Thug Life starring Kamal Haasan and Simbu released on June 5th worldwide amidst big hype and expectations. Sadly, the film received unanimous negative reviews and the film is also heading towards a disaster status at the box office.
Usually, many disaster films have a 7-8 rating on the ticketing platform, Book My Show, on the opening day. However, surprisingly, Thug Life received a 5.2 rating from the audience and moviegoers, which indicates the film’s poor state. This hugely affects the film’s prospects for the weekend.
On the other hand, there has been great trolling of certain scenes and a few characters in the film, especially that of Trisha. Now, with this poor rating, the film will surely get a major blow in its final numbers. Thug Life opened with around 40 crores worldwide and Day 2’s numbers are also not promising. The film is also likely to settle even below Indian 2’s final numbers.
