After receiving accolades for his performance in Vijay Sethupathi’s Maharaja, Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap is coming up with an all-new web series. The untitled 8-episode thriller drama series will be made in both Tamil and Hindi and be dubbed into other languages.
The Netflix web series will star GV Prakash Kumar in lead and will go on sets soon. The show is in its pre-production stage and will be a big-budget production with a big star cast. Anurag Kashyap’s last Netflix web series Sacred Games was released in 2018 and was a major success.
Ever since Sacred Games released, fans have been demanding more from Anurag Kashyap and their demands have been finally been heard. The ace director has also turned his focus towards acting and apart from Maharaja, he was seen in Bad Cop (web series), brief cameo in Vijay’s Leo and Hindi films Haddi and Kuttey in 2023.
GV Prakash also has turned towards acting and was seen in Dear, Kabil, and Kalvan in 2023. With Anurag Kashyap returning to direction with this Netflix show, the anticipations have already skyrocketed.
