Actress Anupama Parameswaran, who was recently seen in Bison and The Pet Detective, has filed a legal case against a netizen for misusing her photos and name. Her fans are shocked to know this, and they are sharing their support online.

She shared on Instagram that she had been dealing with the issue for a few days. In a shocking incident, someone had been posting morphed photos of her along with false accusations and tagging people she knew. At first, she ignored it, thinking it was normal trolling, but when it continued, she felt something was wrong.

After some investigation, the actress found out that a 20-year-old girl from Tamil Nadu was behind it. The girl had created several fake Instagram accounts just to target Anupama. Once she discovered this, Anupama Parameswaran contacted the Kerala Cyber Crime Police and filed a legal case on that netizen, and they quickly identified the person responsible.

Even after knowing the truth, Anupama chose not to reveal the girl’s name because of her young age. She mentioned that the case will proceed as per the law, but she wants to protect the girl’s identity for her future.

In her post, Anupama also reminded people that having social media doesn’t give them the right to do whatever they want. She emphasized that online actions can be tracked and that everyone must take responsibility for their behavior. Her clear and sincere message received wide support and was shared by many.
