Anudeep achieved massive success with Jathi Ratnalu and marked a blockbuster debut for himself in Tollywood. Jathiratnalu collected a solid Rs 38 crores worldwide and was one of the biggest blockbusters of 2021.
Post this massive success everyone projected Anudeep to be the next big thing in Tollywood. He created a unique brand for himself and joined hands with Siva Karthikeyan for Tamil-Telugu bilingual Prince.
Unfortunately, Prince couldn’t stand up to the hype and became a box office failure. After the failure of Prince, Anudeep’s tough time started with many announced projects and planned combinations failed to work out.
The young director had planned a project with Venkatesh which did not materialize. After this, a film was planned with Ravi Teja, and that too didn’t work out at the last moment. After these setbacks, Anudeep is reportedly in plans for a film with Vishwak Sen and it needs to be seen whether this becomes a reality or not.
