Anil Ravipudi has emerged as a successful director in the Telugu film industry, and to date, he has no flops at the box office, which speaks volumes about his track record. He has worked with senior heroes Venkatesh and Balakrishna and is all set to release a film with Megastar Chiranjeevi for Sankranthi 2026. Anil Ravipudi now promises to make a film with Nagarjuna, another senior hero.
Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Venkatesh, and Nagarjuna are the senior stars and four pillars of the previous generation. Now youngsters are leading the industry, though senior stars show their stardom whenever they come up with the right film. Nagarjuna was in good form ten years ago with films like Manam, Oopiri, and Soggade Chinnin Nayana, and led the senior stars, but lost the momentum from then.
He is looking for a major comeback. Recently, he has been taking on character roles, and his role “Kuberaa” was well-received. However, his role in Rajinikanth and Lokesh Kanagaraj’s “Coolie” did not live up to expectations and received negative reviews. He is now working on his 100th film, directed by Tamil director Ra Karthik.
Nagarjuna can score a solid hit with Anil Ravipudi
Venkatesh, a senior star hero, has collaborated with Anil Ravipudi on three successful films, F2, F3, and Sankranthiki Vasthunam—significantly contributing to his comeback. Anil Ravipudi also directed Bhagavanth Kesari, starring Balakrishna, which was a box office success and won the National Award.
Now with Chiranjeevi, he is doing Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu. Anil Ravipudi is the most bankable director for senior heroes, and Nagarjuna is the only senior hero with whom he has not made a film.
The director confirms a film with Nagarjuna is 100% happening soon. This collaboration is much-needed for the actor, as Ravipudi can deliver a blockbuster like “Soggade Chinni Nayana” for Sankranthi.
