Story:

Performances:

Naveen Polishetty completely owns the screen and delivers a highly entertaining performance, carrying the film on his shoulders. Meenakshi Chaudhary plays an important role, but her character does not get much scope to perform.

Analysis:

Anaganaga Oka Raju is directed by Maari and written by Naveen Polishetty. Set in a village backdrop, the film begins on a routine note. However, Naveen’s humor makes several scenes work well.

The writing is not particularly strong, but a few moments in the love track between Raju and Charulata work nicely, with good chemistry between the lead pair. The interval twist is predictable, but it hints at more chaos in the second half.

The second half opens with a hilarious episode and mainly revolves around a village president election. Even here, the film depends heavily on Naveen’s comedy. While some scenes work well, others fall flat.

In the final 20 minutes, the film takes an emotional turn, using the familiar trope of the hero realizing his mistakes. Though it adds seriousness, this portion feels slightly heavy compared to the film’s overall tone.

Positives:

  • Naveen Polishetty’s Performance and Screen Presence
  • Love Portions in the First Half
  • Fun Moments

Negatives:

  • Boring Parts in both halves
  • Repetitive Tone at a few places
  • Music could have been better

Anaganaga Oka Raju Review and Verdict:

Overall, Naveen Polishetty delivers a super entertaining in Anaganaga Oka Raju. Despite its weak moments, especially in the second half, the film manages to entertain
