Alia Bhatt’s Jigra is now streaming online. Alia Bhatt’s latest action drama, Jigra was released in theaters in October and became a big failure at the box office. The film was the first theatrical release of Alia after Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani, and everyone was excited to see Alia in an action avatar. The posters and promos raised the anticipation for the film, but eventually, it failed to live up to the expectations of audiences.
The film also had good promotions in Telugu, as Ram Charan and SS Rajamouli released the Telugu version’s trailer on social media and noted faces like Trivikram Srinivas, and Samantha attended the Telugu Pre-Release event. The OTT giant, Netflix has bagged the digital rights of the film, and both the Hindi and Telugu versions are available to stream now.
Jigra Story/Synopsis:
Jigra tells the story of Ankur Anand (Vedang Raina) a youngster full of dreams in his life, but he lands in jail because of a false drug case and is sentenced to death. Satya Anand (Alia Bhatt) the elder sister of Ankur sets on a mission to free her brother and she is ready to face any consequences. Jigra’s story focuses on how Satya plans to save her brother and what difficulties she goes through during the process.
