Ajith’s Valimai is attracting solid buzz ahead of its release on 24th February. The film has closed its business of AP Telangana and the makers have received a solid deal. Radhakrishna Entertainment’s Venkat has bagged the Telugu state’s rights for Valimai for Rs 4 crores.
The action-thriller will feature Ajith in a cop role after a long time. Valimai is one of the most eagerly awaited Tamil biggies and fans’ anticipation is at an all-time high.
Madurai-based Gopuram films have bought entire TN rights for a whopping Rs 72 crores. This is the highest pre-release business for a movie post-Corona lockdown. Similarly, the buzz for this action thriller in the Hindi trade circles is also great.
Directed by H Vinoth, Ajith’s Valimai also stars Huma Qureshi and Karthikeya Gummakonda. Yuvan Shankar Raja is scoring the music. Boney Kapoor has produced this action entertainer. This is the second collaboration between Boney and Ajith after the 2019 courtroom drama ‘Nerkonda Parvai’.
