The Adipurush new release date forces Salaar to postpone

Prabhas fans have been eagerly waited for Adipurush as they faced two setbacks in the form of Saaho and Radhe Shyaam. The teaser of Adipurush drew flak from all corners due to the cartoonish visual effects.

Makers of Adipurush initially thought of releasing it for Sankranthi but having seen the response for the teaser, the team had to shift the dates and the previous understandings with the distributors regarding Sankranthi release got disturbed.

Salaar, the much awaited film of Prabhas is being directed by Prashanth Neel of KGF series. Makers of Salaar have announced that the movie will be coming for September 2023. Due to the postponement of Adipurush to June, Salaar might be further delayed.

Such delays have become common scene these days, big films generally announce a date but due to the visual effects outcomes and other improvements the dates are being pushed further.

Producers of other movies are facing issues to accommodate movies that were previously planned and announced. Looks like the new age directors are poor on punctuality.

Prabhas fans are complaining that two big films of prabhas releasing in just three months gap doesn’t go well with the box office. They are blaming the production houses for this poor planning.

As the both films have huge expectations it is a valid argument that minimum gap is essential. But both are of different genres, one being a mythological action and other being an action entertainer is a respite. It might also be lucky for the fans to watch their favourite rebel star in back to back films in a short gap.
