The makers of Aakasamlo Oka Tara, directed by Pavan Sadineni and starring Dulquer Salmaan alongside Satvika Veeravalli, have officially announced the film’s release date – November 20, 2026, in theatres worldwide.
“The Journey to the Stars Begins”
Announcing the date, Swapna Cinema shared: “The journey to the stars begins. #AakasamLoOkaTara / #AOTMovie – 20th November 2026 in theatres.” The film is produced by Sandeep Gunnam and Ramya Gunnam under Light Box Media, with Geetha Arts and Swapna Cinema presenting the project. Music is composed by GV Prakash Kumar, and the film releases in Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi.

November currently has fewer major releases lined up compared to other months, giving Aakasamlo Oka Tara a clearer run at screens and audience attention rather than getting lost in a crowded festive slate.
The Story So Far
While Dulquer Salmaan plays a character named Krishna, the film’s actual protagonist is Satvika Veeravalli’s character , the story follows a girl from a remote rural region chasing her dream of becoming an astronaut and reaching space.
