Coolie and War 2, both movies were expected to be huge money spinners, but the biggies are seeing a big drop in numbers on weekdays. Let’s have a look at the 6-day box office report of War 2 vs. Coolie Clash.
Rajinikanth and Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Coolie has collected 420 Cr gross worldwide for 6 days at the worldwide box office. The all-India gross is around 263 Cr, and the overseas gross stands at 157 Cr approx.
Coming to the much-hyped sequel of War, the all-India gross is at 218 Cr, while the overseas gross is around 66 Cr, taking the total gross to approximately 285 Cr.
For breakeven value Coolie is likely to see an 80% – 85% recovery in closing, whereas War 2 will end up with a 50% recovery in its closing.
The Box Office clash, Coolie vs. War 2, had big expectations from everyone, but sadly, both movies are having disappointing runs at the theaters.
While Coolie is in a better position because of the extraordinary weekend, Hrithik Roshan and NTR’s War 2 struggled to excel except on Independence Day.
