Vishnupriya Bheemineni is facing legal trouble after a cyber crime case was filed against her at the Vijayawada Cyber Crime Police Station. The complaint was registered by the All India Students Federation (AISF), alleging that she has been posting obscene and semi-nude content on her Instagram account.
Details of the Complaint
The AISF leaders stated that Vishnupriya’s Instagram content is misleading youth and could negatively influence young audiences. They argued that public figures and social media influencers have a responsibility to maintain standards while sharing content online, and accused her posts of promoting inappropriate behavior among followers.
The student organization also raised objections to her subscription-based content model on Instagram. They claimed that collecting money for such content may amount to an offense under existing laws, and demanded action against the practice.
Police Action
AISF representatives have requested authorities to take immediate action, including blocking her Instagram account to prevent further circulation of the alleged objectionable content. The Vijayawada Cyber Crime Police have registered the case and investigation is currently underway. Authorities are expected to proceed based on the findings of the investigation.
