Virupaksha Climax Twist Was Not My Idea, Says Director

Supreme Hero Sai Dharam Tej’s Virupaksha was released on April 21st and got good responses from audiences and critics as well. The audiences are spellbound by the technical excellence and the thrilling impact created by the Movie, and they are all got immersed in the world of Rudravanam. Especially the climax episode was raved by the audience and director Karthik Dandu told an interesting fact about that episode in an interview.

The climax twist has become the main asset of Virupaksha because no one had expected that kind of twist and the director Karthik Dandu revealed that it was not his idea and his initial idea for the climax idea twist was different, but it was Sukumar who had made the change and put the idea of present climax of the film. Karthik said he was shocked after listening to the idea of climax by Sukumar.

Produced by BVSN Prasad under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra, Virupaksha was to be released in multiple languages, including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, but the team changed the decision at the last minute and decided to release the film in other languages after a week or so seeing the response in Telugu. The Hindi version will be released on 5th May.

With music by B Ajaneesh Loknath, the cinematography of the film is handled by Shamdat Sainudeen. The film stars Sai Dharam Tej, Samyuktha Menon in the lead roles, while Rajeev Kanakala, Brahmaji, Ajay and Sunil in the other crucial roles. Written by Sukumar, the film is based on unsolved mystical elements occurring in a village named Rudravanam.
