Vijay’s Leo buzz is similar to Rajinikanth’s Kabali, making it the most hyped film in recent Kollywood history

There is no need to specially mention the craze for Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kabali which was released in 2016. The film had created a massive buzz, and it broke all the opening day records for Kollywood in all Tamil language territories, and it even created new benchmarks and in Telugu dubbed Tamil movies as well. Now the upcoming film of Vijay, Leo created superb buzz that is similar to Rajinikanth’s Kabali, making it the most hyped film in recent Kollywood history.

Kabali also created a new benchmark for Kollywood films in Hindi as it opened well, and everywhere it created opening records. Now Vijay’s Leo, which is all set to be released in theaters on October 19th, has created similar buzz in the audiences.

With the combination of Thalapathy Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj who are both at a peak in their career, the film is set to break all the records in Tamil territories and big openings are expected in other languages also like Kabali it is expected to create new benchmarks for Tamil cinema, and it will be the 1st 100Cr+ opener for Kollywood worldwide on day 1.

Meanwhile, the team of Leo had planned an event in Chennai, but it got cancelled at the last minute and the film’s lead actor Vijay is known for not being involved in promotions of his movies apart from one big pre-release event. Because of this, Leo unit did make any events, and it is being reported that they are in plans to arrange a pre-release event in Telugu and as per the reports, Anirudh Ravichander will be giving a Live Performance at the event.
