Kollywood Actor Vijay Sethupathi is on cloud nine with the success of his Maharaja last year. The film went on to become his solo highest grosser also grossing nearly 200 crores worldwide. Maharaja has also impressed the Chinese Audience after its release there where it grossed nearly 100 crores surprising all.
The Actor suffered with the bitter results of his previous films before Maharaja, and the film has completely changed his journey now. He is in the mood to take up any project only as a Lead Actor and even rejected many crucial role offers in a few films that he used to do before Maharaja.
Now, Vijay Sethupathi is set to act in a Web Series to be made by Jio Hotstar titled, Muthu Engira Kattan. This Web Series is said to be a rural action drama also featuring Bollywood Actor, Jackie Shroff in a prominent role. Earlier, Director Manikandan came on board the Series who had also shot a few episodes but it is now learned that he has opted out.
Another Director Arumuga Kumar is being considered for helming the Director’s work. Apart from this, Vijay Sethupathi’s next films are Ace and Train which are scheduled for release in 2025. The Actor is also busy hosting the Tamil Bigg Boss show that premieres on Jio Hotstar.
