Kollywood Actor, Vijay made a grand entry into politics yesterday with his first massive open event. He also delivered a fierceful speech putting forward his ideologies and agenda taken up by his party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK). Vijay has also pledged to make decent politics with decent attack on his opponents.
It is estimated that around 8 Lakh people have gathered for this event. Vijay greeted the people ahead of his speech with an iconic ramp walk. He even introduced his important colleagues to the people and sat alongwith them on stage as well.
Vijay while speaking has mocked the DMK and BJP ideologies and assured his party would serve for all. However, he didn’t mention the names of any individuals or parties officially. He even quoted the names of MGR and NTR who became successful in politics with a film background countering people who mocked him for being an Actor.
Vijay became emotional while speaking and reminded fans and people that they hold great place in his heart. It needs to be seen how the political landscape changes in the coming days with his political activities. He will be doing only one film, Thalapathy69 and would be quitting films forever after this.
