It is very well known that the Tamil Superstar Thalapathy and young star director Lokesh Kanagaraj are currently working on Leo, the most awaited film in South Indian Cinema at present. The film has enormous hype around as the Hero and Director’s previous film, Master, was a blockbuster at the box office. Also, the film was said to be a part of Lokesh Kanagaraj Cinematic Universe, which has also added more craze to it.
Already the film has created records in theatrical and non-theatrical business. Now the producer of Leo is in plans to release the movie on record number of theaters in the USA. “US & North America has totally 3000 centers (Theatres) among that we are planning to release LEO in 1500 Centers” said Leo producer Lalith Kumar.
For the unknown, Thalapathy Vijay plays the role of a gangster in his 40s, who lives in Kashmir, away from the world of the gang wars by running a chocolate factory. The storyline of the movie contains all the ingredients of a Lokesh Kanagaraj movie – with all the adrenaline – pumping elevation scenes, action sequences and high-octane drama. The Inner-character conflicts are seen as one of the major highlights, reportedly. Moreover, it is said that the shooting of the Leo should be completed by mid-July.
Leo, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj is rumored to be a part of Lokesh’s LCU aka Lokesh Cinematic Universe, of which Karthi’s Kaithi and Kamal Haasan’s Vikram are also a part. Besides Vijay and Trisha, Leo has a list of the big star cast, among which Arjun Sarja, Priya Anand, Gautham Menon, Mathew Thomass, Mansoor Ali Khan and Sandy.
The film is surrounded by massive expectations not only from Tamil but also the Telugu audience. Leo will hit screens on October 19th.
Meanwhile, Lokesh Kanagaraj is also teaming up with Superstar Rajinikanth next on Thalaivar 171. Vijay recently announced his next film with director Venkat Prabhu, which is expected to start the shooting by September/October this year.
