Vijay Deverakonda is following the same path as Nani to build momentum before release. Just like Nani did for The Paradise, Vijay hosted a special fans meet and photo session for Ranabaali today at Sarathi Studios in Hyderabad, ahead of the film’s pre-release event this evening. A large number of fans gathered at the venue to meet their favourite star.
The Nani Strategy
Before The Paradise’s pre-release event, Nani held a fans meet and photo session where he personally met his fans and took pictures with them. The move created a lot of positive buzz and helped build excitement right before release.
Vijay Deverakonda has now done the same for Ranabaali. Meeting fans directly, just days before release, gives them a personal connection with the film and helps spread the excitement on social media. With a big crowd turning up at Sarathi Studios, the response shows that Vijay’s fan base is ready to back the film.
Pre-Release Event Tonight
The pre-release event of Ranabaali is happening this evening at Shilpakala Vedika in Hyderabad. The event is expected to be a big moment for the film’s promotions, with the team set to speak about the film for the first time on a big stage before release.
India Bookings to Open After the Event
Advance bookings in India are set to open after the pre-release event. With the event, the fans meet, promotional interviews and bookings all coming together in the final days, Ranabaali is expected to gain momentum from here.
The pre-release buzz for the film has been on the lower side so far, but things are now starting to turn. The film’s USA pre-sales have been picking up over the last couple of days, and the team is now pushing hard in the final stretch.
Censor Done, All Set for Release
Ranabaali has already cleared its censor formalities with a U/A certificate and a runtime of 170 minutes. The certificate came as a surprise, as many expected an A certificate after the intense glimpses, and it opens the film to family audiences during Dasara. The team has also decided not to go for ticket hikes in the Telugu States.
Ranabaali releases worldwide on October 16 in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada, with USA premieres on October 15. Directed by Rahul Sankrityan and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the period action drama stars Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, with music by Ajay-Atul.
