Viduthalai 2 gets its runtime revised. Renowned director Vetrimaaran’s cop drama, Viduthalai 2 is all set to be released in theaters worldwide in a few hours now. The film was censored at 172 minutes 38 Seconds. The latest reports suggest that the team trimmed another 8 minutes from the film before going to theatres.
It is a good decision from the makers as we have seen many films suffer with lengthy runtimes. It is better to give perfect runtime before release itself, instead of trimming after release, which would create unnecessary confusion among audiences. Viduthalai 2 gets its runtime revised.
The movie’s advance bookings are good in Tamil and it is expected to take a double-digit opening worldwide, and if word of mouth is positive, it will also open with good numbers in Telugu.
