The action drama, which was supposed to be released for Pongal/Sankranthi 2025 was postponed because of financial reasons. However, it looks like the struggles for the movie are over and it has completed the censor formalities. Vidaamuyarchi has been censored with a U/A certificate, and the film’s runtime is 2 Hours 30 Minutes. It did not get many cuts except for some cuss words which were muted or altered. Most likely the film will be released on January 30th.
Vidaamuyarchi is the first-ever collaboration between Ajith and Magizh Thirumeni. The movie, which is produced by Lyca Productions, marks the reunion of the Mankatha stars Ajith, Trisha, and Arjun. The other members of the ensemble include Arav, Regina Cassandra, and Ramya.
