Varun Tej’s Ghani was released in theatres on 8th April and despite the decent promotions around the film, it performed poorly at the box office. The movie managed to collect only 4 crores in shares on its opening weekend. Ghani was shot on a budget of 40 crores which means it will end up as a disaster.
The man himself, VarunTej, has finally responded to the failure at the box office. He took to Instagram to share a long post regarding Ghani. This is what the actor had to say, “I feel extremely humbled by all the love and affection you have showered upon me all these years.”
“I thank each and everyone who was involved in the making of Ghani. We worked with real passion and hard work to deliver a good film to you. Somehow the ideation didn’t translate as we thought it would.”
“I will learn from this, and will continue to work harder” he added.
