Mahesh Babu and Rajamouli’s film Varanasi became the first project to host a grand public event to reveal its title and theme, and it inspired another big project, NTR – Neel’s film to follow the same route.
Unlike most films, which announce titles at press meets, online, or in theatres, Varanasi chose a large-scale event with cast and crew speeches. This unique approach quickly became a hot topic on the internet.
The team also invited media from across the world, including Hollywood, ensuring that the film’s content reached audiences in multiple languages and crossed international boundaries. Varanasi team’s strategy has inspired other filmmakers, including the team behind NTR and Prashanth Neel’s upcoming project.
Producer Mythri Ravi recently clarified that the rumored title Dragon is only one of the options being considered and has not been finalized. He added that the film is being designed as a massive international project, showcasing a completely new side of NTR through Neel’s powerful vision. The official title and first glimpse will also be revealed at a grand event, similar to Varanasi.
By adopting this strategy, the makers aim to explain the film’s theme in detail while building excitement among both Indian and global audiences.
