Ustaad Bhagat Singh and Youth Stream on Netflix April 16

Telugu and Tamil OTT viewers are in for a double treat this weekend as two major films arrive on Netflix tonight. Pawan Kalyan’s action drama Ustaad Bhagat Singh and Ken Karunas’s coming-of-age hit Youth both begin streaming from April 16, 2026.

Ustaad Bhagat Singh Hits Netflix

Directed by Harish Shankar, Ustaad Bhagat Singh released theatrically on March 19, 2026. The film stars Pawan Kalyan as a fearless police officer fighting against political corruption and organized crime. Netflix confirmed the April 16 streaming date earlier, moving up from the initially announced April 23 release.

The action drama marks another collaboration between Pawan Kalyan and director Harish Shankar, known for their work in mass entertainers. The film will stream in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi on Netflix.

Youth Movie Streaming Details

Youth is a Tamil coming-of-age romantic drama written, directed by, and starring Ken Karunaas in his lead debut. The film follows Praveen (played by Ken) as he navigates high school life, friendship, and adolescent romance with three girls. The narrative focuses on the joys, humiliations, and emotional turbulence of youth.

The film has been described as an authentic portrayal of teenage experiences, resonating particularly with younger audiences. Youth will also stream in multiple South Indian languages alongside its original Tamil version.

Netflix Double Release Strategy

Both films streaming on the same night gives Netflix India a strong South Indian content lineup for the weekend. Ustaad Bhagat Singh caters to action and mass movie fans, while Youth targets audiences looking for relatable coming-of-age stories. The simultaneous release on April 16 allows viewers to choose between high-octane action and heartfelt drama.

According to Netflix's regional content strategy, the platform has been consistently expanding its South Indian film library to cater to the growing demand for Telugu, Tamil, and other regional language content.
