The postponement of Prabhas’s Pan Indian film, Salaar has given the small Telugu films a chance to set their release dates. Everyone is aware that Salaar made by the KGF Series fame Prashanth Neel with Prabhas in the lead role, was supposed to be released on September 28th. However, due to the delay in Post production works and other issues, the film got postponed.
Now, two small Telugu film units were quick enough to grab the opportunity to officially announce their arrival on Salaar’s release date. Those films are Kiran Abbavaram’s Rules Ranjan and Sithara Entertainment’s MAD.
Written and directed by Rathinam Krishna, Rules Ranjan marks Kiran Abbavaram’s third film of this year after Vinaro Bhagyamo Vishnu Katha and Meter. The upcoming film stars latest crazy heroine Neha Shetty as the female lead. Amrish is the music director of the film and one of the three songs which have been released from the film, Sammohanuda, has become a viral hit.
Produced by Divyang Lavania and Murali Krishnaa Vemuri under Star Light Entertainment, Rules Ranjan also stars an ensemble cast including Vennela Kishore, Hyper Aadi, Nellore Sudarshan, Subbaraju, Ajay, Goparaju Ramana Annu Kapoor, Siddharth Sen, Atul Parchure, Vijay Patkar, Makarand Deshpande, Abhimanyu Singh and Gulshan Pandey.
Another small film, MAD, will also be released in theaters on September 28. Suryadevara Naga Vamsi is presenting this youth entertainer while Sai Soujanya is co-producing on Fortune Four Cinemas.
The film marks the debut of young director Kalyan Shankar. Sangeeth Shobhan, Narne Nithin, Ram Nithin, Sri Gouri Priya Reddy, Ananthika Sanilkumar, Gopikaa Udyan are playing leading roles in this crazy outing. Raghu Babu, Racha Ravi, Muralidhar Goud, Vishnu, Anthony, and Srikanth Reddy are also part of the cast.
