It collected a massive 18.7 Cr gross worldwide on the 1st weekend. The film gathered 12.2 Cr from TN, 2 Cr from ROI, and another 4.5 Cr from overseas, and now it is even dominating at the box office, and the trade expects a very big run for the film.

Tourist Family is a comedy-drama directed by debutant Abishan Jeevinth. Set in post-pandemic Sri Lanka, the film explores the economic crisis. Dharmadas, portrayed by Sasikumar, escapes Sri Lanka with his family for a brighter future in India. Simran plays Vasanthi, his wife, while Mithun Jai Sankar and Kamalesh act as their children.
