Tollywood should have united during Vakeel Saab; it lacks unity: Nani

Natural Star Nani is basking on the accolades for Shyam Singha Roy. Both Nani and Sai Pallavi’s performances received great reviews and the film is performing well at the box office. Shyam Singha Roy would have been doing even better if not for the AP tickets issue.

Shyam Singha Roy is facing severe cuts from its box office collections as a number of theatres have shut their doors due to the government’s ticket policy. Nani has been quite vocal about the issue and has often requested the government to take steps to save the industry.

The actor in a recent interview stated that Tollywood lacks unity. He pointed out that the situation would have been different if the industry united during Vakeel Saab release time. It was during the release of this Pawan Kalyan starrer that the government issued new ticket prices G.O.

“Instead of raising their concerns about this issue during Vakeel Saab release, everyone stayed calm. Most were not bothered as their movie was not up for release,” pointed out Nani.”

I would like to be proven wrong but I feel Tollywood lacks unity,” he added.
