Tollywood Film Producers Not Ready

Nearly after 60 days of lockdown Central Government has given some exceptions and rights to State Governments. After Lockdown 3 all most all activities have been resumed across India. Tollywood Film Industry has decided to go on a meeting with respected ministers to get permission for their shootings to resume.

Both the Telugu States Chief Ministers invited the film fraternity to discuss the issues. After a few meeting, Telangana Government has passed a GO to resume their film & TV shoots with certain guidelines. Even AP Government has allowed to resume film shootings after June 15th. All set for filmmakers to get back on sets but producers aren’t ready. Yes, producers who have been waiting for the permissions till date are now not ready to resume their film shootings. The guidelines passed by the government are the main reason. Any film will be having nearly 150-180 cast and crew on the sets, but the government guidelines say only 60 people are allowed on the sets. Each and every crew member should be tracked and tested before they go on sets. Not only these governments also directed that every film set should have a doctor every day and the producer should be taking care if anything goes wrong. With all these guidelines Producers say that it is difficult to resume the shoot and production cost will be increasing.
