With ‘Kannappa’ officially postponing from its April 25th release date, the month has now opened up for small and medium-budget films to take center stage in Telugu cinema. While no major big-budget films are arriving , several interesting releases are lined up, including re-releases of classics and fresh outings from promising actors and directors.
The re-release wave continues with ‘Aditya 369’ on April 4th and ‘Aarya 2’ on April 5th, bringing nostalgia for cinephiles. New releases start with ‘Jack’, starring Siddhu Jonnalagadda, and ‘Good Bad Ugly’, featuring Ajith, both hitting screens on April 10th. The following day, Predeep’s ‘Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi’ joins the list.
Tamannaah’s thriller ‘Odela 2’ arrives on April 17th, followed by Trinadh Rao’s production ‘Chaurya Paatam’ and Indraganti Mohanakrishna’s directorial ‘Sarangapani Jathakam’ on April 18th. Bellamkonda Sreenivas’s ‘Bhairavam’ is tentatively slated for April 25th, though an official announcement is awaited.
Additionally, April 10th marks the Bollywood debut of Gopichand Malineni with ‘Jaat’. As the month progresses, more small films might join the lineup, especially on April 25th, making it an exciting time for cinema lovers.
