Tiger 3 failed to set record numbers on its biggest day. It is widely known that the Salman Khan’s latest film was released on the occasion of the Diwali festival on November 12. Usually, the Post Diwali festival day is considered to be the biggest day for Bollywood films, and it has been proved as many films registered records on that day in Bollywood’s history. However, Tiger 3 failed to set record numbers on its biggest day.
The trade expected Tiger 3, the film to take the advantage of the Post Diwali Day. Tiger 3 Hindi opened with 42Cr+ net on opening day and considering the Lakshmi Pooja and other factors, it was a good opening, but the film failed to take the jump as expected by the trade on the second day.
The trade expected the film will collect between 65 – 70Cr net on day 2 but now as per the reports, the second day number is expected to be under 60Cr net as per early estimates, which is a disappointing one.
SRK’s previous films like Jawan and Pathaan had normal weekend but posted bigger numbers than Salman’s film, but Tiger 3failed to break the records on the biggest day for Bollywood.
Tiger 3 is the third film of the Tiger franchise. Yash Raj Films backed it. Shah Rukh Khan as Pathaan and Hrithik as Kabir from WAR will make special appearances in the film. The film will be released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The movie is said to have stunning action sequences; reportedly, Tiger 3 is the most significant action film in the YRF Spy Series.
The film Tiger 3 sees Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif reunite as agents Tiger and Zoya. The trailer of Tiger 3 also shows the personal struggle of Salman’s character. Besides saving the nation, Tiger also has a new nemesis named Emraan Hashmi, who is the film’s primary antagonist.
