The theater owners in the Telugu States are facing very hard times with continuous bad results of movies. After Sir movie, many small movies have been released, but no movie had performed well, excluding Venu Yeldandi’s Balagam. Even Balagam movie is performing well only in the Nizam area. With all the big films targeting Sankranti or Summer, there are no noted movies released in February – March.
As a result, most of the theatre owners are left with no movie to screen, and they are screening some old movies which also not working for them. The new releases are continuously failing, and the theater owners have pinned their hopes on next weekend releases.
Two films are releasing next week. One is Kannada Star Hero Upendra’s Kabzaa, another one is Naga Shourya’s Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi . Both movies still have not created any buzz, which has upset for the theater owners. However, if the talk comes good, then these movies could get some decent numbers at the box office.
Phalana Abbaayi Phalana Ammayi is aromance drama starring Naga Shaurya and Malvika Nair, directed by Srinivas Avasarala and produced by People Media Factory together with Dasari Productions, is hitting screens on March 17. Kalyani Malik is the composer of the film and the audience have well received the songs.
Upendra’s Kabzaa revolves around the 1945 British Raj. Directed by R Chandru, the movie narrates the story of an air force soldier; the son of a freedom fighter who emerges to rule the mafia world. The movie scheduled for theatrical release on March 17, 2023, on the occasion of Puneeth Rajkumar’s birthday, will simultaneously release in seven languages, including Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, Bengali, and Odia.
