The first biggie of 2026 for Telugu Cinema, The Raja Saab starring Prabhas, arrived in theaters on January 9th, and the film opened with decent collections on day 1 despite getting mixed reviews unanimously. The film’s gross collections have crossed 100 Cr, making it the 6th one for Prabhas in his career.
The Raja Saab 1st day Gross (Approx)
Telugu States Including Hires
- Telangana: 22 Cr
- Ceeded : 8 Cr
- Andhra : 31 Cr
- Karnataka: 8 Cr
- TN + Kerala: 2 Cr
- North India : 8 Cr
- Overseas: 24 Cr
- Total Gross – 103 Cr
The film needs to collect more than 400 Cr gross to achieve the breakeven; more than 90% of the collections will come from the Telugu version, as the other languages did not give much positive response to it. This is a disappointing thing for a pan-Indian film.
Fans are sharing the numbers on social media, highlighting that Prabhas’s The Raja Saab scored decent collections on the first day despite getting negative reviews. But the film needs to continue doing so in the festival days to achieve a positive result at the box office.
