Before release, there were huge expectations on Prabhas’s The Raja Saab’s box office performance pan-India-wide, but looking at the film’s collections for 2 days across all versions, the film is performing only in Telugu.
The Raja Saab’s Day 2 all-versions gross is around ₹35 Cr, taking the total 2-day box office gross to approximately ₹138 Cr. More than 90% of collections are coming from Telugu, while Hindi is poor and other South Indian languages are outrightly disastrous.
For all languages, the film’s worldwide share until now is around ₹81 Cr, which includes GST in the Telugu states. It needs over ₹200 Cr share (400 Cr+ gross) to reach breakeven, and looking at the current trend, the target looks unreachable. Let’s wait and watch how the film will perform during the festival days.
