The promotional content of Ranga Marthanda is the reason for poor collections

For any movie, promotional content is essential. To make the audience interested in the movie, the makers should plan the publicity and promotions accordingly. Creative Director Krishna Vamsi’s Ranga Marthanda movie was promoted by most of the industry people and everyone raved about the emotional content and performances of the film.

However, the appreciation from the industry people helped the movie only on the opening day, which was also for a limited section as only few audiences watched and liked the film. From the second day, the movie has failed to maintain the momentum and collections have dropped drastically.

The promotional content is the main reason for the film as the teaser, trailer, and songs looked old-fashioned which did not impress the audience. But the good thing is the audience and critics have appreciated the film for its honest intentions and the performances of Prakash Raj, Ramya Krishna and Brahmanandam. Especially, everyone was blown away by the impeccable acting of Brahmanandam.

Ranga Marthanda is the official remake of Marathi blockbuster Natsamrat directed by popular artist Mahesh Manjrekar. Starring Nana Patekar in the titular role, the heart-touching drama depicts the tragic family life of a stage actor who has retired from acting but cannot forget his fond memories of theater.
