The Paradise OTT Release Date: Nani’s Biggest Grosser Lands on Netflix on October 22, Just 4 Weeks After Release

The Paradise OTT streaming Date is October 22nd

Nani’s The Paradise is arriving on OTT sooner than many expected. The Srikanth Odela directorial will start streaming on Netflix from October 22, exactly four weeks after its theatrical release on September 24.

Four Weeks From Theatres to Netflix

The Paradise is following the four-week OTT window that most big Telugu films now go with. The film released in theatres on September 24, and its run has already come to an end, making October 22 a natural time for its digital debut.

For audiences who skipped the film in theatres after the mixed talk, and for those who want to watch it again, Netflix will now be the place to catch it.

Nani’s Career Highest Grosser

At the box office, The Paradise became the biggest grosser of Nani’s career. The film opened to a massive ₹76 Cr worldwide on Day 1, nearly double his previous best opening, and went on to close its run at around ₹170 Cr gross worldwide across all languages. It also became Nani’s first film to cross ₹150 Cr worldwide and his first to collect more than ₹50 Cr gross in Nizam alone.

But the big numbers did not make it a clean success. The film was sold at the highest prices of Nani’s career, and while Nizam made profits and Rest of India did decently, distributors in Andhra, Ceeded and overseas ended with losses. Overall, The Paradise closed its worldwide run as a below average to average venture.

Can OTT Change the Conversation?

The Paradise opened to mixed talk on content, with much of the criticism focused on its writing and execution. Nani himself called the strong feedback “aggressive honesty” and said he was learning from it.

OTT often gives films a second life. Some films that divide audiences in theatres find a different response when viewers watch them at home. With Netflix’s wide reach, The Paradise will now be seen by a much larger audience, and it will be interesting to see whether the response changes.

About The Paradise

Directed by Srikanth Odela, who earlier made Dasara with Nani, The Paradise is a raw, intense period action drama. Nani plays the lead, with Kayadu Lohar as the female lead and Raghav Juyal as the antagonist. Anirudh Ravichander composed the music, and the film was produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under SLV Cinemas on a budget of around ₹200 Cr, the biggest of Nani’s career.

What Next for Nani?

Nani has already moved on to his next. He is set to begin Bloody Romeo with OG director Sujeeth, an action film with a witty twist, and has also signed an emotional love story with 96 director Prem Kumar, expected to go on floors in early 2027.
